Registration Information

Admission = $20
One price; all persons; all programs

  • Admission price is the same for everyone attending --- athletes, coaches and parents
  • Admission entitles you to your choice of programs on both Friday and Saturday (seven and a half hours of workshops, presentations and discussions with 20 sessions running concurrently)
  • Sorry, but there is no one-day or partial registration
  • A wristband will be provided as your "ticket" for the Expo. Wristbands are non-transferrable.
  • You MUST PRE-REGISTER to attend (there will be no registration at the door)
  • Admission is limited to the first 1,000 registrants
  • On site registration will be available between 4:40 - 6:00 PM on Friday; and from 7:30 - 9:00 AM on Saturday.
  • If you are attending the 2009 AASP Convention, Expo registration is included with your conference registration fee (you must indicate that you wish to attend the Expo at the time you register for the conference)
Expo Admission - Individual Registration

Registration is easy, convenient and secure. Simply click the link below, and in a few minutes you will have reserved your admission to the first ever 2009 Sport Psych Expo sponsored by the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).

  • If you are part of an organization or group that has purchased tickets through the advanced group registration process, you do not need to register again on-line; tickets will be provided to your group leader. If you have any questions whether you have one of the reserved tickets, contact your group leader.

Expo Admission - Group Registration
 

If you have a group of six or more individuals that would like to attend the Expo, you can take advantage of our group registration process. This allows the group leader to complete one registration form and make one payment for the entire group.

  • Wristbands will be provided to the group leader as the "tickets" for admission to the Expo.
  • A wristband entitles admission to programs on both Friday and Saturday; there is no one-day or partial registration.
  • A group may distribute wristbands to athletes, coaches, parents or any interested parties.
  • Wristbands are non-transferable
  • All groups registering for the Sport Psych Expo will be eligible for a Grand Door Prize valued at $1,500. Dr. Liz Joy and colleagues from the University of Utah Sports Medicine Fellowship Program will provide the lucky winner a free pre-participation physical examination clinic at the Madison Health Center on the University of Utah campus, The clinic will run for up to three hours and serve up to 30 athletes. The winner will be announced during the Wrap Up session at the end of the Expo.

Workshop for Psychologists: Developing your Knowledge, Skills and Credentials in Sport Psychology

On the Tuesday September 15, 2009 (prior to the Expo) Dr. Jack Lesyk, the Director of the Ohio Center for Sport Psychology and an Adjunct Asst. Professor of Psychology at Cleveland State University, will be offering a day-long workshop for Utah psychologists seeking to enhance their skills in sport psychology.
